The Gahanna Police Department is asking the public for any information about Flintridge Drive resident James Alton Mills.

On Thursday, Sept. 27, the Gahanna SWAT team executed search and arrest warrants at Mills' residence, 214 Flintridge Drive.

Mills, 71, was arrested at his home without incident for allegedly pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor, police said. Numerous items believed to have evidentiary value were removed from the home, including a surveillance DVR recorder, a TV/VCR, a computer, a black box, a digital camera, 125 VCR/30 cassette tapes, a floppy-disc drive, hundreds of floppy discs, a white binder labeled "job records" and a white binder labeled "Jim's job instructions," according to police.

The warrants were filed by Gahanna police detectives for pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor, a second-degree felony.

Gahanna police say they have identified numerous minors who have frequented and loitered at Mills' residence in the past. They ask that anyone who believes he or she might be a victim or might have any information regarding his arrest to contact the Gahanna Police Detectives Bureau at 614-342-4240.

Mills had cameras installed throughout the residence including the computer room, his bedroom, the kitchen and garage, according to police.

Additionally, all interior doors were barricaded with wooden 2-by-4 beams. Mills' bedroom also was secured by a combination lock, according to police reports.
