* Police received a report at 11:32 a.m. Monday, Nov. 26, about an unidentified person turning on a faucet in the front yard of a residence in the 310 block of Haymarket Place.

* A heat pump was reported stolen at 11:49 a.m. Monday, Nov. 26, from a residence in the 450 block of Johnstown Road.

* Two prescriptions were reported stolen at 2:26 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, from a business in the 300 block of South Hamilton Road.

* Sixty dollars in gas was reported stolen from a business in the 1400 block of Cherry Bottom Road at 2:47 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26.

* Police received a complaint at 5:16 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, from a motorist who had to sit through three traffic-light cycles for the northbound lane to turn green at North Stygler Road and U.S. Route 62.

* Police received a report at 12:13 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, concerning a barking dog in the 540 block of Towne Court North.

* A resident filed a complaint with police at 6:18 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, concerning someone wearing a ski mask and looking into an apartment window in the 140 block of Vista Drive. Police later were advised that the masked person was an AT&T representative repairing phone lines.

* Police received a report at 6:53 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, about a barking dog in the 540 block of West Johnstown Road. Police were advised that the homeowners are deaf and don't realize the dog barks all day.

* Police received a complaint at 7:12 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, about loud music coming from an apartment in the 120 block of Green Meadows Drive East.

* A laptop was reported stolen after an unidentified person broke into a vehicle at a business in the 150 block of North Hamilton Road. The report was received at 11:57 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27.

* The driver-side window of a vehicle was reported broken at 7:53 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, in the 590 block of Taylor Road.

* Police received a report of a gunshot at 9:24 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, in the 300 block of Iroquois Park Place.

* A big-screen television was reported stolen at 4:20 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, from a residence in the 560 block of Theori Avenue. The resident said an old roommate might have been the thief.

* Police received a report at 5:05 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, concerning a mailbox that had been taken out of the ground in the 100 block of Helmbright Drive.

* Police took a report at 10:56 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, concerning employees stealing food from a restaurant in the 150 block of North Hamilton Road.

* Police received a report of gunshots heard at 2:08 a.m. Friday, Nov. 30, at Fenchurch Way and Palace Lane. Police said the noise was the result of a large falling tree branch.

* Police received a complaint at 3:49 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, from a resident who said a neighbor had "taken over" her yard in the 170 block of Prince of Wales Drive.

* Police received a report at 12:46 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, about a fight in the rear parking lot of a business in the 1000 block of North Hamilton Road.

* Police received a complaint at 9:43 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, about a dog owner not cleaning up after his pet and walking it off leash. The caller said the dog has bitten someone in the past. The complaint was taken from a resident in the 840 block of Caroway Boulevard.

* Police received a report at 3:22 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, from a mailman who said he had been bitten by a dog in the 320 block of Cadbury Court.

* A guitar was reported stolen at 3:35 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, in the 70 block of Mill Street.

* Police received a complaint at 5:15 p.m. Saturday Dec. 1, about a man urinating on the wall of a business in the 370 block of Stoneridge Lane.

* Police received a report at 8:03 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, about a vehicle being keyed in the 300 block of Heil Drive.

* Christmas decorations were reported stolen at 12:18 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, from a residence in the 650 block of Mistletoe Street. A second resident in the 620 block of Mistletoe Court also reported stolen Christmas items at 3:10 p.m. Dec. 2.

* Police received a complaint at 1:24 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, from a resident who said her home had been egged two nights in a row in the 810 block of Hedley Place.

* A suitcase and gym bag were reported stolen from a vehicle at 6:16 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, in the 1300 block of Stoneridge Drive.
