* Police received a complaint at 9:27 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, from a resident who found a credit card and lighter at his home in the 100 block of Penny Lane. He said the items didn't belong to any of the residents and that items also were found out of place.

* Complaints were received at 1:11 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, about loud music, screaming and yelling at a residence in the 700 block of Penny Lane.

* An unidentified person attempted to steal a catalytic converter from a vehicle in the 690 block of Taylor Road on Dec. 3. Police received a report about the attempted theft at 11:33 a.m.

* A bag with clothes and money were reported stolen at 9:42 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, after someone smashed the back window of a vehicle in the 1370 block of North Hamilton Road.

* Cash was reported stolen from a vehicle at 9:52 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, from a parking lot of a business in the 1300 block of North Hamilton Road.

* A book bag and purse with military ID were reported stolen at 10:19 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, from a business in the 210 block of West Johnstown Road.

* A vehicle was reported stolen at 2:18 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, from a business in the 150 block of North Hamilton Road. Police received a follow-up call from the vehicle's owner, who said the car was found in the parking lot at the Hunters Ridge Shopping Center.

* A wallet was reported stolen at 9:33 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, from a vehicle in the 340 block of Halsbury Circle.

* Police received a complaint at 10:36 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, about a woman outside acting high or drunk with her toddler boy in the 300 block of Ainsworth Ave.

* Police received a report at 12:42 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, about two motorists drag racing trucks at Hamilton Road and Granville Street.

* Police received a report at 12:57 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, about an attempted burglary in the 200 block of Helmbright Drive. The door of the residence was damaged but no access was gained to the home.

* Police received a report at 1:43 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, about possession of a dangerous weapon (knife) at Gahanna Lincoln High School, 140 S. Hamilton Road.

* A red, leather computer briefcase was reported stolen from a vehicle at 3:37 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, from the parking lot of a business in the 80 block of Granville Street.

* A cellphone was reported stolen at 10:13 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, from a business in the 900 block of North Hamilton Road.

* Police received a traffic complaint at 8:33 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, about a motorist driving erratically at Havens Corners Road and Helmbright Drive.

* A tire was reported slashed at 8:21 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, in the 800 block of Vista Drive.

* Police received a complaint at 6:04 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, about a man stuck in his wheelchair at Creekside Park, 123 Mill St.

* Copper was reported stolen at 11:38 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, from a vacant residence in the 980 block of Riva Ridge Blvd.

* Police took a report at 4:23 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, that a garage window was broken and kitchen door forced open at a residence in the 430 block of Lyncroft Drive.

* Police received a report at 4:29 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, that a family was panhandling at a business in the 1300 block of Stoneridge Drive.

* Police received a complaint at 6:38 a.m. Friday, Dec. 7, in reference to a customer using counterfeit $20 bills at a business in the 400 block of Granville Street.

* Parts of a vehicle were reported stolen at 12:58 p.m. Friday Dec. 7, from a business in the 780 block of Taylor Station Road.

* A purse was reported stolen from a vehicle at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, in the 820 block of Tech Center Drive.

* A purse was reported stolen from a vehicle at 11 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, in the parking lot of a business in the 330 block of Agler Road.
