Gahanna Area Art League Paint Out, 9 a.m. to noon May 16 at the Ohio Governor's Mansion Garden. Participants must sign up early for this Plein Air workshop. The garden should have irises, cherry blossoms and daffodils in bloom. The league also is planning an All Day Art Display & Sale May 22 at the Gahanna Senior Center's May Ice Cream Social, 480 Rocky Fork Blvd., Gahanna. Team I.A.G. (It's All Good), third annual Cruise-In at the Gahanna/New Albany Relay for Life, 8 a.m. to noon June 8 at the Gahanna Lincoln High School parking lot in front of the football stadium on Havens Corners. Registration is from 8 to 10 a.m. Cost of $10 includes a free meal ticket for all registrants. Dash plaques will go to first 50 registered vehicles. Awards will be presented at noon. The event will include music, food, raffles, 50/50 and family activities. Proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life, Team I.A.G. AARP Foundation Senior Community Service Employment Program assists unemployed Franklin, Delaware and Licking county workers age 55 and over with securing employment. The program offers paid work experience, specialized training, upgrading of skills and job-search assistance. Age, income and residency requirements apply. Wild Ones, 10 a.m. May 11 at the Innis House in Inniswood Metro Park, 940 Hempstead Road, Westerville. The program, "Growing Up to be a Wild One," will be given by Barbara Kay Velez Barbosa. Columbus Wild Ones members will bring plants, seeds and materials. Children and adults will do hands-on activities. Bring a small hand trowel and a pair of gloves. Seedlings can be taken home and transplanted into flower beds. Information on creating and maintaining a Monarch Waystation to attract butterflies also will be available. Children will receive a free poster. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
