Mary Thomas, 10, of the Lucky Clovers 4-H Club in Gahanna, Blacklick and New Albany won first place at the Ohio State Fair for her 4-H Living History Project. She created a character from the 1860s and researched how an 11-year-old girl from that time would have lived. Thomas has been a member of the Lucky Clovers since 2010. Sharla House the 4-H Club's adviser.
