St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Give thanks. Walk. event, Nov. 23 at Franklin Park Conservatory, 1777 E. Broad St. The event features a family friendly after party, including face painting, Games2U, magician, live music and more from 8 to 9:45 a.m. Registration is free, but participants are forming teams and raising money online at givethankswalk.org to earn incentives. These efforts support St. Jude in finding cures to save children battling cancer and other diseases.

Coca-Cola Holiday Caravan, visit with the iconic Coca-Cola Santa, 5 to 8 p.m. Nov. 24 at Wal-Mart, 3900 Morse Road. Coca-Cola invites families to have pictures taken with Santa. The cross-country tour features five festive Coca-Cola trucks decorated with more than 18,000 red and white lights.

Hadassah Hanukkah dinner and gift auction, 6 p.m. Dec. 3 at China Dynasty, 1677 W. Lane Ave., Upper Arlington. The parve meal will be served family style. Cost is $19. Reservation checks must be received by Nov. 26 at the Hadassah office, 2700 E. Main St., Suite 106, Columbus. Sandy Roseman and Merry Lynne Lincove will do their comedic auctioneer routine. Attendees are asked to bring nicely wrapped gifts (minimum value $15) for the auction. Raffle tickets will be sold at $5 each or five for $20, and Hadassah greeting cards will be available. Donated goods or services are welcome as raffle prizes and for the silent auction. The Hanukkah party is chaired by Stephanie Elliott. Wexner Heritage Village Spiritual Life Team, information session and training luncheon for the Nadav Spiritual Volunteer Program, noon to 1 p.m. Tuesdays, Dec. 10 and March 11, at Wexner Heritage Village, 1151 College Ave. Zusman Hospice Jewish Chaplain Rabbi Debbie Lefton will lead the session. This program pairs trained volunteer visitors with long-term care, independent and assisted living residents on the WHV campus, as well as unaffiliated individuals in central Ohio, who seek a spiritual confidant to explore issues such as faith, the afterlife, religious values and beliefs.
