Gahanna police seek PNC robbery suspect

Gahanna police are seeking the public’s assistance in connection with the robbery of PNC Bank, 191 Granville St., about 10:50 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 25.

A white man entered the PNC Bank branch and presented a teller with a note demanding cash, according to police reports.

After receiving an undetermined amount of cash, the suspect fled the bank and headed east. He entered the passenger door of a black two-door vehicle.

The vehicle was identified as possibly being an early 2000 model of a Honda Civic with a factory spoiler.

The suspect is described as about 6 feet tall. He was wearing a tan-colored hooded jacket, light-colored blue jeans and a black scarf covering his mouth. He also was wearing multicolored gloves.

No injuries were reported during the robbery, according to police.
