After six seasons as football coach at Gahanna Lincoln High School, John Snoad has been told by school administrators that he won’t be returning next season.
The Lions lost their final four games this season to finish 3-7 overall, marking the first time since it went 3-7 in 1999 that it didn’t win at least four games.
Gahanna went 9-3 and made it to a Division I, Region 3 semifinal in 2011, but that was its only playoff appearance under Snoad. Last season, the Lions lost their final two games and settled for a 7-3 finish and 11th in the final Region 3 computer ratings.
Under Snoad, the Lions went 32-30 with three losing seasons.
