Gahanna Lincoln High School announced seven athletes from the 2014 graduating class will compete collegiately.
During the early signing period last November, Evan White signed to play baseball at Kentucky, Javon Bess signed to play men’s basketball at Michigan State and Morgan Belli signed to compete in women’s swimming at Kentucky.
In addition, Christian Grimme will compete in men’s soccer at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, Rachel Zink will play softball at Trine University in Angola, Ind., Boomer Lowe will play baseball at Sinclair Community College in Dayton and Kevin Randolph will play football for Walsh in North Canton.
Randolph had a team-high four interceptions last season and also saw time at wide receiver for the Lions, who went 3-7.
Grimme was OCC-Ohio Division Player of the Year last season for the boys soccer team, which went 11-2-5 and won at least a share of its 10th consecutive league title.
Lowe and White were key players last season for the baseball team, which made it to the Division I state tournament for the first time.
Belli is a three-time state qualifier in swimming.
Zink started in left field last season for the softball team, which made it to a Division I regional semifinal.
Bess helped the boys basketball team earn a regional runner-up finish last season.
