Between 1 and 10:30 a.m. Sept. 11, in the 500 block of South Sixth Street: A woman reported someone entered her garage and the two cars inside and stole a pair of binoculars and $5 in change.

Between 4 p.m. Sept. 13 and 10 a.m. Sept. 14, in the 900 block of Mohawk Street: A man reported someone entered his open garage and stole a $130 chainsaw.

Between 8 p.m. Sept. 13 and 11:40 a.m. Sept. 14, in the 100 block of East Sycamore Street: A man reported the theft of credit cards and identification from his detached garage.

2:14 p.m. Sept. 11, in the 500 block of South Lane: A resident reported that, on a daily basis, she has a number of males who sit on her porch, drinking beer. When she has told them to leave, they become belligerent and called her names, she said.

Between 10:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Sept. 9, in the 1100 block of Pearway Lane: A woman told police she allowed a homeless woman to stay overnight at her house. When she awoke, the woman was gone as was $40 and a $150 camera.

11:50 a.m. Sept. 8, in the 700 block of South Front Street: A woman reported the theft of two $20 bills from her purse at a business.

11:52 p.m. Sept. 8, in the 700 block of South Ninth Street: A woman reported the theft Aug. 29 of two bicycles worth a total of $500.

Between 3:30 p.m. Sept. 5 and 6:30 a.m. Sept. 8, in the 600 block of South Front Street: Workers reported someone broke into a storage box in a garage and stole three welders and other equipment worth over $10,000.

10:10 a.m. Sept. 5, South High School, 345 E. Deshler Ave.: Police cited two students for fighting.

Thefts from or vandalism to autos were reported from: the 700 block of Mohawk Street, the 500 block of South Front Street, the 800 block of South Pearl Street, the 200 block of Siebert Street, the 500 block of Briggs Street and the corner of Purdy Alley and Frankfort Street.
