Miracles & Magic, a variety show of comedy and magic, will be staged Friday and Saturday, April 3 and 4.

Miracles & Magic, a variety show of comedy and magic, will be staged Friday and Saturday, April 3 and 4.

The show benefits A Kid Again, formerly Adventures for Wish Kids, which provides group activities for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families.

The opening-night party will begin at 6:30 p.m. at Martini Park at Easton Town Center, 4040 Easton Station. Guests will enjoy fine food, drinks and up-close illusions.

Saturday matinee performances will be held at 1 and 5 p.m. at the Capitol Theatre in the Vern Riffe Center, 77 S. High St.. The performances will showcase magical, comedy and grand-illusion talent. Headlining this year's show is Dana Daniels, who was named stage magician of the year at the Magic Castle in Hollywood. Other performers include Kerry Pollock and Jon Petz.

Tickets for the opening-night party are $100 per person or $50 for young professionals. Matinee ticket pricing starts at $10 for children under 14 and $15 for adults. Call the CAPA box office at (614) 469-0939 to purchase tickets.

The 15th annual Columbus Pet Expo will be held Friday through Sunday, March 27-29, at Veterans Memorial.

Eevents at the expo will include:

Joel Silverman, the 2008 Trainer of the Year and host of Animal Planet's "Good Dog U," will conduct training seminars.

Jerry Lee Parker, the "Common Sense Horse Trainer," will host the Equestrian area, where visitors will find Hugs 2 Horses and Lost Acres Rescue and Rehab.

A competition featuring Buckeye Dock Dogs.

The Classic K-9 show, a pet fashion show, and a dress-up-your-pet competition.

Reptiles, birds and pets of many other kinds will be represented.

The expo supports more than 30 pet rescues and humane societies. Discount tickets are available at Kroger stores and Complete Petmart.
