Family Days, sponsored by Papa John's and Columbus Parent Magazine, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 1 and 2 at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. The event will include family friendly vendors and entertainment, costumed characters and mascots, sports activities and arts and crafts projects. Visitors who bring 10 canned goods per person on May , will receive free admission and parking.

"Girls Need to Know," an event for teen girls in grades 7-12, 4 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 11, at the Statehouse, 1 Capitol Square.
