Matthew S. White of German Village has been named chairman of the Columbus Bar Association's energy law committee.

Matthew S. White of German Village has been named chairman of the Columbus Bar Association's energy law committee.

White is an associate at Chester Wilcox and Saxbe LLP. He represents clients in all aspects of electric, natural gas, communications and water/wastewater industries. He also practices in the areas of local government law and related litigation.

White is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association's public utilities committee and the Ohio environmental law committee. He is licensed to practice law in Ohio and West Virginia.

White earned a law degree and a master's degree in business administration from the College of William and Mary. He holds a bachelor's degree from Ohio University.

Edward M. Krauss of Dispute Resolution Inc. on South Sixth Street has been elected vice president of the Ohio Mediation Association.
