Isabelle Billet of German Village was recently appointed to the Central Ohio Diabetes Association board of directors.

She is a senior vice president of marketing and innovation at Dublin-based Cardinal Health Inc. Prior to her current role, Billet served as the vice president of marketing and new business development for C.R. Bard Inc. in Georgia.

She also serves on the marketing roundtable of Georgia State University in Atlanta.

Billet earned her doctorate in pharmacy from Montpellier Pharmacy University in France. She holds a master's degree in business administration from the Cranfield School of Management in England.

Thurber House, 77 Jefferson Ave., will offer Writing Wizards workshops for students in grades 2 through 8.

The workshops meet each Saturday from Jan. 22-Feb. 26 and are limited to 15 students. A variety of classes for different age groups will be offered.
