Cause Collaborative returns to Columbus

Cause Collaborative is returning for its third year with new topics and more nonprofits looking to help the community by sharing best practices and information.

Community Shares of Mid Ohio, a local nonprofit, and Fulcrum Creatives, a local brand development firm, are partnering again for Cause Collaborative, a one-day workshop conference for the Columbus nonprofit community.

The event will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, May 17, at Seventh Son Brewing, 1101 N. Fourth St.

Cause Collaborative is a conversational event that brings together experts and peers working at or with nonprofits in Columbus to share advice, knowledge and expertise.

The event includes a light breakfast, four guided question and answer sessions with Columbus nonprofit experts and peers, lunch by Freedom a la Cart, a networking cocktail hour and a workbook for note taking.

Session topics include board development, customer relationship management software and databases, funding operational support and pathways to giving online.

Agencies with representatives on hand will include the Cardinal Health Foundation, the Women's Fund of Central Ohio, Groundworks Group, Greater Columbus Arts Council, Grange Insurance Audubon Center and the Columbus Foundation.

Tickets are available for $35 at causecollaborative.com/tickets.
