German Village: Copper downspouts stolen from 6th St. residence

A resident in the 700 block of South Sixth Street told Columbus police $300 worth of copper downspouts were stolen from his property between 9:25 p.m. Jan. 31 and 12:25 p.m. Feb. 1.

In other recent German Village area police reports:

* A man in the 100 block of East Frankfort Street reported Feb. 2 a person was supposed to deliver $75 worth of firewood but never showed up with the merchandise.

* A woman reported an incident of menacing Feb. 4 in the 400 block of Sycamore Street.

She told police a neighbor came by and threatened her with physical violence.

* Two women claimed there were assaulted about 2:19 a.m. in the 100 Block of East Livingston Avenue.

* More than $1,200 worth of merchandise was stolen between noon Aug. 15 and 2:45 p.m. Feb. 4 from a residence in the 200 block of Thurman Avenue.
