German Village: Resident reports robber took his wallet

A 23-year-old German Village man claimed he was robbed at 11:09 a.m. June 5 at the corner of Frankfort and Mohawk streets.

The victim told Columbus Division of Police officers the bandit made off with his wallet.

In other recent incident reports from the German Village area:

* A CD player, its value was not identified in the report, was stolen between midnight to 6 a.m. June 5 from a van parked in the 400 Block of East Beck Street.

* Police were investigating an apparent hit-skip accident that occurred between noon and 2:27 p.m. in the 100 block of Jackson Street.

The victim told police a vehicle or other object struck his house, causing $150 worth of damage.

The victim told police he thought it could be a moving van because a neighbor saw one near his residence earlier that day,

Between 8 p.m. June 4 and 7 a.m. June 5, someone broke the passenger side window of a vehicle parked in the 300 block of East Stewart Avenue.

The victim told police the suspect stole $3 worth of change.

Between 10 p.m. June 4 and 6 p.m. June 5, two hanging flower baskets with a combined value of $50 were stolen from the front porch of a residence in the 300 block of East Stewart Avenue.
