The Grandview Heights Board of Education will hold a special meeting at 7:30 p.m. Monday, May 5, to gather community input regarding the proposed changes to the student activity code of conduct.

The meeting will be held in the Grandview Heights High School Library.

The Grandview Heights Fire Department will have crews on the street flowing and pumping hydrants May 1 through June 1.

The work will take place during daylight hours.

Residents may experience a slight loss in water pressure for a few minutes and may also notice a discoloration in their water. This discoloration is just sediment in the mains and will clear up in a short time.

Laundry should not be done while water is discolored.

Anyone experiencing a prolonged problem should call the fire department at 488-5904.

The deadline to sign up to participate in Grandview's Great Garage Sale is Saturday.

The annual event, during which residents throughout the city hold garage sales, will take place Saturday May 10 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

A participation fee of $5, payable to event organizer Kim Maupin, is charged. The fee will benefit the Pierce Field Park Fund and will also pay for flyers advertising the event.

Information, including the participant's name, address, phone number and a brief description of up to five sale items, should be mailed or dropped off to Maupin, 1355 Mulford Road, Columbus 43212.
