The sixth-annual Circleville Dog Days 5K road race will start at 9 a.m. Aug. 2, beginning and ending at Circleville High School. Entry forms can be found at www.circlevillexc.com. Participants also can register the day of the race between 7:15-8:45 a.m.

The Jungle Gym Adventure Center will hold adventure, gymnastics and leadership camps.

The adventure camps will be held July 7-11 and July 21-25 for boys and girls ages 7 and older. The adventure camp will be doing kayaking, rock climbing, rappelling and boomerang making and throwing.

The gymnastics camps will be July 14-18 for athletes ages 4-12. The camp will focus on vault, bars, beam, floor and trampoline as well as video analysis.

The leadership camp will be from Monday through July 3 for boys and girls entering grades 7-12. Campers will learn the skills, traits and techniques of effective leadership.
