Although summer has just begun, it appears someone may be getting ready early for fall.

Grandview Heights police have received several reports of leaf-blowers being stolen over the past week.

The latest report came on Saturday when a man told police two leaf-blowers and a trimmer were stolen from the open bed of his truck while the vehicle was parked in the 900 block of Northwest Boulevard. The total value of the stolen items was $1,215.

On Thursday, a man reported a leaf-blower, valued at $535, was stolen from the unsecured bed of his truck while he was doing yard work in a client's backyard on Cambridge Boulevard.

Another man reported on June 24 that a leaf-blower, valued at $300, was stolen from his truck bed while he was working at a home in the 700 block of Northwest Boulevard. He said the theft occurred while he was working in the front and the truck was parked at the rear of the residence.

On June 22, a man reported a leaf-blower, valued at $319, was stolen while he was mowing the grass at Wyman Woods.
