A Columbus man was arrested Aug. 21 and charged with operating a vehicle while under the influence, no operator's license and driving the wrong way on a one-way street.

A Blacklick man and Columbus woman were cited Aug. 20 after police approached them as suspicious persons in the rear of a property in the 1000 block of Dublin Road. The man was cited for open container and the woman was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Grandview police filed warrants for assault and domestic violence against a Pickerington woman following an Aug. 19 incident.

A resident of the 1500 block of Lincoln Road reported Aug. 19 his vehicle had been keyed, causing $275 damage.

Police received several reports of bicycles stolen from in front of the Grandview Heights Public Library, 1685 W. First Ave. Two people reported their bikes were stolen on Aug. 18. Another theft report was made on Aug. 21, but the bicycle was later found in the library's front stairwell.

A Columbus man was arrested Aug. 18 and charged with speeding and no operator's license.

An investigation is under way to determine whether a table located on the front porch of a home in the 800 block of Palmer Road was deliberately set on fire. The fire department was called to the residence and found the homeowner had extinguished the fire himself.

A Columbus man was arrested Aug. 16 and charged with using license plates belonging to another vehicle and driving under suspension.

A woman reported Aug. 16 that her bank account was accessed and $3,000 was stolen. She said she has also received two money orders totaling $1,900 that were found to be counterfeit.
