• A Grandview man police had interviewed on Jan. 22 while investing a theft was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. The suspect allowed officers access to his backpack where the suspected stolen items were located, and drug paraphernalia was also found. Charges of theft are pending. The man was taken to the Franklin County Jail.

• A Columbus woman was arrested Jan. 21 and charged with expired license plates and driving under suspension. She was released after a friend posted her bond.

• A Columbus man was arrested Jan. 19 and charged with expired plates and on a warrant through Franklin County Municipal Court. He was released after posting bond.

• A New Albany man was arrested Jan. 19 and charged with driving left of center and operating a vehicle while under the influence. He was released after posting bond.

• A resident of the 800 block of McClain Road reported Jan. 17 a microwave oven, coffee maker and foot warmer were stolen from her home. Total loss was $210.

• A Columbus man was arrested Jan. 17 and charged with operating a vehicle while under the influence. The man was traveling south on Olentangy River Road and proceeded south where he should have curved when the road changed to Twin Rivers Drive. He hit a road sign and proceed south on Twin Rivers through Grandview Heights jurisdiction with the sign on his windshield before he was stopped and arrested after failing a field sobriety test. Columbus police arrived and took the accident report for the sign.

• A Columbus woman was arrested Jan. 17 and charged with operating a vehicle while under the influence and speeding. She was released after being processed.

• An employee's paycheck in the amount of $1,400, and $50 in cash were reported stolen Jan. 16 from a business in the 900 block of Burrell Avenue.
