• Officers made contact Feb. 25 with suspicious persons near a vehicle on Broadview Avenue. Warrant checks were made and a felony warrant was found for one of the men, a Columbus resident. He was arrested. When a search of the man was made, he was found to be in possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia. He was sent to the Franklin County Jail.

• A Marble Cliff woman was observed Feb. 25 traveling on Grandview Avenue with an obstructed front license plate. After her vehicle was stopped, it was found there was a warrant for her arrest out of Franklin County Municipal Court for theft. She was placed under arrest. During a search of her vehicle, a bag containing marijuana was found. She was issued a summons for possession of marijuana and taken to the Franklin County Jail on the warrant arrest.

• A Columbus woman's vehicle was stopped Feb. 24 when she was observed making a prohibited left turn from Douglas Street onto Grandview Avenue. Officers saw that her 2-year-old son was sitting unrestrained on the front passenger's lap. The woman was arrested on two warrants through Franklin County Municipal Court and also charged with failure to use a child restraint, making an illegal turn and no operator's license.

• A Hilliard man was arrested Feb. 24 and charged with operating a vehicle while under the influence and drug abuse. He was released to a sober driver.

• A Columbus man was cited Feb. 23 for no operator's license, two headlights required and driving under suspension.

• An employee of a business in the 900 block of Williams Avenue reported Feb. 23 someone ordered several cell phones on his corporate account and had the phones delivered to another location. Total loss was $1,650.

• A resident of the 2000 block of Cardigan Avenue reported Feb. 23 a GPS unit, valued at $200, was stolen from her unlocked vehicle.

• A Sunbury man was arrested Feb. 22 and charged with driving under suspension. He was released after posting bond.

• Officers were dispatched Feb. 21 on a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 1000 block of Dublin Road. Two men were found in the car. The first, A Grove City resident, was arrested on a warrant through Franklin County Municipal Court and taken to the Franklin County Jail. The second man, a Columbus resident, was cited for possession of marijuana.

• A resident of the 900 block of West Second Avenue reported Feb. 21 that rings, earrings, a golf bag with clubs, trickle charger and a motorcycle carry-on satchel were stolen from her home.

• A Columbus man was arrested Feb. 20 and charged with failure to reinstate a license, driving under suspension, no operator's license and found to have active warrants through Franklin County Municipal Court. He was taken to the Franklin County Jail and while being slated he was found to be in possession of a bag of marijuana. He was further charged with illegal conveyance of drugs into a detention facility. A passenger in the man's car was found to have a warrant and was placed under arrest and sent to the Franklin County Jail.

• Officers were dispatched Feb. 20 to a report of a breaking and entering at a business in the 1200 block of Grandview Avenue. The owner of the business reported an ATM machine, valued at $2,100, had been stolen. The ATM contained $280. The owner said $50 was also stolen from the cash register.
