Grandview Avenue is about to get a lot sweeter.

Pure Imagination Chocolatier Chocolate Studio and Gallery will open around the first week of August at 1205 Grandview Ave., in Grandview Heights.

Owner Daniel Cooper, who owns the Pure Imagination store in the North Market, said he likes the visibility on Grandview Avenue and the vibrant restaurant culture.

“It’s time for us to get a full-blown retail location,” he said.

The 1,500-square-foot storefront will feature a full line of Pure Imagination’s signature truffles, as well as artisan pastries and a gelato bar.

Cooper said he did not renew a lease at a 5,000-square-foot production facility in Hilliard, so all confections will be made at the Grandview Avenue location.
