Grandview Heights police are looking for a man who threatened a woman with a gun and took her cash early this week.
Officers were dispatched about 10 p.m. March 10 to the 1300 block of West Second Avenue on a report of an armed robbery. The woman told police the man approached her as she stepped out of her vehicle and demanded cash, telling her he had a gun.
She said she gave him all her money, which was less than $20. The man walked away toward Grandview Avenue, reports said.
The robber was described as a black man, about 36 to 40 years old, 6-feet, 2-inches tall with a large athletic build, and wearing dark sweatpants and a dark pull-over hoodie.

* An officer was dispatched March 8 to Grandview Heights High School, 1587 W. Third Ave., and was informed by the principal that there was a strong odor of marijuana in the freshman hallway, reports said. After further investigation, the student in possession of the marijuana was found and suspended and will be charged with possession of marijuana.
* Officers were dispatched March 7 to a business in the 1200 block of Grandview Avenue on a breaking and entering report. Between 8 p.m. March 6 and 10:50 a.m. March 7, a cash box containing $400 and a laptop computer, valued at $750, were taken from the business, reports said.
