Grandview: Juvenile tells police he sold marijuana

Grandview Heights police arrested a juvenile April 25 and charged him with trafficking in drugs after finding 34 grams of marijuana in his book bag, according to reports.

Officers executed a search warrant about 8:30 p.m. April 25 at the boy's home on Northwest Boulevard and recovered several pieces of drug paraphernalia and evidence of drug trafficking, police reports said.

The juvenile arrived home while police were there and he was arrested and taken to the police department.

His book bag, containing drug paraphernalia and the marijuana, which was packaged for sale, was located at another home a short time later. The juvenile admitted to selling and possessing marijuana and that the book bag and its contents were his, according to reports.

The boy was released to his mother at the police department.
