Grandview: Residents of three apartments report break-ins

Grandview Heights police recently responded to two reports of break-ins at area apartments.

The manager of an apartment building in the 1100 block of West Second Avenue reported she was showing a vacant apartment June 7 when she noticed two first-floor apartment doors had been forced open. She immediately left the building and called police, reports said.

The resident of the first apartment later reported a video-game console, a laptop computer, a television and a necklace were stolen from her residence. A television and guitar were missing from the other apartment, reports said.

A resident of an apartment in the 800 block of Northwest Boulevard reported she arrived home about 9:50 p.m. June 4 and found a unknown person walking out her front door. She briefly pursued the person on foot before returning home and calling police. The only item reported missing is a bottle of prescription medication.
