The Paul J. Falco Scholarship Committee again is offering a scholarship opportunity to Marble Cliff students.
To be eligible, a student must be a current resident of the village and have lived in the village for at least one year.
The committee will offer scholarships this year only to high school senior applicants who have a 3.0 or better grade-point average. The committee will consider an applicant's scholastic achievements, character, extracurricular activities and service to school and community.
To be considered, students must submit a completed application form with two letters of recommendation. Applications can be delivered in person to Village Hall, 1600 Fernwood Ave., or mailed and postmarked by April 15.
Applications forms are available at Village Hall or in the guidance office at Grandview Heights High School.
The scholarships are possible through an endowment created by the late Paul J. Falco, a former village mayor, and his wife, Bobbie Hall Falco. In the past 16 years, more than $89,500 in scholarships have been awarded.
