A woman told Grandview Heights police her purse was stolen from her car Jan. 7 while it was parked in the 700 block of Bobcat Avenue.

A woman told Grandview Heights police her purse was stolen from her car Jan. 7 while it was parked in the 700 block of Bobcat Avenue.

A passenger-side window was broken to gain entry to the car. One of the victim's credit cards later was used to make an unauthorized purchase, according to reports.

In other recent Grandview police reports:

* A man reported Jan. 4 a package of construction material that was delivered to his in-laws' home in the 1300 block of Lincoln Road had been stolen. The man said he had been staying at his relatives' home and had the package delivered there. He had received confirmation the package had been delivered, but when he arrived at the house, the package was gone.

* The construction manager at a job site in the 800 block of Bobcat Avenue reported a generator was stolen between 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Dec. 27.

* A work supervisor reported Dec. 27 a skid loader was stolen from the 1300 block of Broadview Avenue. The man told police his workers parked the skid loader after finishing work Dec. 22 and found it was missing when they returned to the job site Dec. 27.

* A resident of the 1300 block of Ashland Avenue reported Dec. 22 his car was broken into overnight. A laptop computer, voice recorder and headphones were reported stolen.
