Jackson Township's annual cleanup day is scheduled for Saturday, May 3, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The free service provided by the Jackson Township Board of Trustees to all residents of Grove City and Jackson Township is for the disposal of items not normally taken by residential trash service.

It will be held at the Township Hall, 3756 Hoover Road

All metals, appliances, refrigerators, stoves, motors, tires and wheels (with a limit of four tires), furniture, beds, construction materials, concrete, brick, lumber, yard waste, tree limbs, junk, trash and debris will be accepted.

"Nothing is too big or too small," according to the announcement.

Hazardous materials, chemicals, paints, fuels, ammunition, oil, pesticides, toxic or poisonous substances will not be accepted.

"These items can be properly disposed during the Household Hazardous Waste Days coordinated at Broadway and Southwest Boulevard on Oct. 18," the announcement stated.
