At this meeting, the plan update will reflect much of the public input presented in a November meeting.

In an effort to raise funds for this year's summer missions and events at Grove City United Methodist Church the youth will be sponsoring a five-week cooking class every Friday, starting May 2.

The classes will began at 7:30 p.m. Chef Phil Campbell will be featuring classes such as "Gourmet at the Campsite," "How to Soufflé," "Graduation Party Prep" and more.

Each session will be $20 a person or $30 a couple. Call Rob Pemberton, youth director, at 875-5612.

In addition, in honor of National Scrapbooking Day May 3, church youth will be sponsoring a scrapbooking event from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the Family Life Center.

They will be providing lunch, dinner, games, snacks and door prizes. The cost is $30 for the entire event.

"Community neighbors and church members are invited to attend and bring friends," according to Pemberton, who is also the contact for registration.
