Little Theatre Off Broadway will present Gilbert and Sullivan's comic operetta "The Pirates of Penzance" beginning this weekend.

Little Theatre Off Broadway will present Gilbert and Sullivan's comic operetta "The Pirates of Penzance" beginning this weekend.

Performances are scheduled for 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, May 2 and 3, and 3 p.m. Sunday, May 4.

The production will continue May 9-11 and May 16, 18 and 23.

The theatre is located at 3891 Broadway. Tickets cost $12 for adults, $10 for students and senior citizens. More information is available by calling 875-3919 or visiting www.ltob.org.

Kate Charlesworth-Miller is directing the production.

The cast includes Timothy S. Klugh as the Pirate King, Sam Vestey as Fredric, Doug Davis as Samuel, Lisa Radke as Ruth, Hillary Billups as Mabel, Jim Dippel as Major General Stanley and Jay Rittberger as the Sergeant of Police.

Appearing as Pirates will be Joe Horner, Jai Furlong and Nicholas Garcia.

In the role of Sisters will be Laura Aume, Tiffany Nack, Anna Wolf, April Wright and Brandi Wilson.

Police officers will be portrayed by T. Shawn Klugh II, Jenny Schwartz, Andrew Bollinger, Billy Hawk and Peyton Sheets.

Members of the crew include performance and orchestra musical director Brandon Ring, rehearsal music director LeeAnn Pretzman, stage manager Delora Klugh, lead choreographer Lori Myers, tap coordinator Ruby Classen, technical director Dan Stanton, master carpenter Larry Ewald, lighting designer Colin Classen, costumer Tammy McClellan, scenic artwork and running crew Emily Williams, running crew Maria Patterson, light board operator Jennifer Carpenter and set crew members Mark E. Miller, Aron Ewald, Mark C. Miller, Jack Miller and Nancy Miller.
