Returning Alumni and their families can once again enjoy the club's homemade chicken and noodles serviced by the cup on Friday July 25.

The club's food tent will be located at the corner of Park Street and Broadway in front of Graeter's Ice Cream.

Also available for sell will be noodles at the cost of $4 a bag.

Don Scott was recently named the new manager of the Cord Camera store in Grove City.

A resident of Columbus, Scott was previously the manager of the Cord Camera at Sawmill and Bethel in Northwest Columbus.

As manager, Scott is responsible for the general management of the retail operations and services of the Grove City Cord Camera.

A Certified Photographic Consultant, Scott is an award-winning fine art photographer whose works are in several private and corporate collections nationwide. His online photographic gallery, donscottgallery.com, features his original photographic monoprints and black-and-white pigment prints.

In addition to his experience in retail, Scott is a 30-year veteran of the broadcasting industry, having worked in various management positions in television and radio in Virginia, North Carolina and Ohio.

Candidates are being sought to stand for election to the Southwest Area Commission on Tuesday Aug. 5.

Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and live or work within the area served by the commission, which is bounded on the east by the Scioto River, the south by Interstate 270, the west by the CSX Railroad tracks west of Harrisburg Park and on the north by Mount Street, Mt. Calvary and Greenlawn Avenue.

The election itself will be held on the grounds of Finland Elementary School, 1835 Finland Ave.

Voting will occur between 6 and 8:30 p.m.

Voting eligibility is limited to those 18 and older who live in the commission's area.
