Sophomore David Wise, a Grove City graduate, is playing football for Otterbein. Wise, a defensive back, had a tackle in a 40-7 opening win over Bethany on Sept. 6.

The Columbus Coralinas Synchronize Swimming Club is offering a three-week "learn to synchro" class for girls 6-and-older from 3-:430 p.m. on Sundays starting Oct. 5 at the New Albany High School Natatorium. Swimmers will learn the skills and techniques used in synchronized swimming. All participants must be able to swin the length of a pool. The Ohio Chargers U-14 baseball team is looking for players for next year. The Chargers play a regional schedule and will participate in the tournaments throughout the Midwest. Eligible players cannot turn 15 before May 1, 2009.
