The Grove City Chamber Singers will perform╩their fall╩concert entitled╩"Let There Be Music," on Sunday, Nov. 16.

The Grove City Chamber Singers will perform╩their fall╩concert entitled╩"Let There Be Music," on Sunday, Nov. 16.

The concert is a celebration of the 20th╩anniversary of the local performing group.

The concert will be performed╩at╩the Grove City United Methodist Church, 2864 Columbus St. The music will begin at 3:30 pm, with doors opening at 3 pm.

The concert, which is free and open to the public, and╩will feature a commissioned piece by local composer Michael G. Martin.

The Grove City Christian Athletic Boosters will host a speaking event titled, "Greatness: What Makes the Great Ones Great?" on Friday, Nov. 21.

The conference will be held at 7 p.m. in the worship center at Grove City Church of the Nazarene, 4770 Hoover Road in Grove City.

All proceeds from the event benefit the athletic programs at Grove City Christian School.

The featured speakers will be former Ohio State University quarterback Craig Krenzel and New York Times best-selling author Don Yaeger.

Krenzel led the Buckeyes to victories in the 2003 and 2004 Fiesta Bowls, where he was named MVP twice. The win in the 2003 game secured Ohio State's first national championship since 1968. Krenzel finished his career at Ohio State with a 24-3 record and is ninth on the school's all-time career-passing list with 4.300 passing yards.

After graduating from Ohio State, Krenzel was drafted in the fifth round by the Chicago Bears, where he started five games before spending one season with the Cincinnati Bengals. Currently, Krenzel is involved in real-estate investing and manages acquisitions and investments for a real estate conglomerate. Krenzel is also an inspirational speaker, talking to audiences on team building, success and values.

Yaeger is the author of 14 books, including four New York Times best-sellers. He began his career at a newspaper in Texas and rose to become associate editor of Sports Illustrated magazine.

"Few can lay claim to as exciting and colorful career as Don," according to the announcement. "In his 20-year career, he has conducted interviews with some of the greatest athletes of our time, Michael Jordan, Mia Hamm, Emmitt Smith, Shaquille O'Neal, Jimmy Connors and countless others."╩
