Cars are to be removed as soon as possible, but no later than 8 p.m., to facilitate the clearing of streets.

"Cars parked on these routes after this time will be ticketed and towed at the owner's expense," according to the announcement. "We continue to ask those residents who have off street parking available on the non-snow route streets to make use of it. This will allow our plows to clear secondary streets when available.

"Citizens are urged to use extreme caution when traveling and venture out only if absolutely necessary."

In addition, Grove City officials decided to close municipal offices, including City Hall on Broadway, at noon because of the snow emergency.

"All safety services will be maintained, including services provided by the Grove City Division of Police and the Grove City Service Department," according to the announcement.
