A suspicious person was reported to the Grove City Division of Police on Monday, April 20.

"This person has been seen in the area of Natalie Drive at Haley Drive in the Hoover Park subdivision," according to the alert from the division. "This individual has been seen at the bus stop at this intersection approximately three times in the past couple weeks."

On April 20 at 4 p.m., however, according to a police report, the man drove up next to two girls after their bus dropped them off and yelled, "Hey, you girls need a ride? You look lost."

"The girls walked away quickly and the male immediately left the area," according to the notice.

The driver was described as a heavy older white male, possibly in his 60s, with grey hair and a short beard. He was driving an older model large maroon or burgundy four-door vehicle.

"The girls stated he is mostly at the bus stop on Thursday afternoons and this was the first time he was seen on a Monday," the notice stated.

"These acts alone are not illegal and no enforcement action should be taken on anyone matching this description," the report added.

Division officials would like to identify this individual, and anyone with information on this vehicle or the driver is asked to contact the Grove City Division of Police. The main number for non-emergency calls is 277-1710. The anonymous tip line is 277-1808.
