• A man, 29, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, speeding and failure to signal. An officer noticed the man driving recklessly at 1:32 a.m. near Kingston Avenue between Haughn and Hoover roads. The man was clocked at 53 mph in a 35-mph zone. He told the officer he had consumed two beers. He did poorly on a field sobriety test. This was the man's second charge for driving while intoxicated in six months.
• A woman, 18, was charged with possession of drugs, drug paraphernalia, driving on a temporary permit with no valid driver in the vehicle and for have windows tinted beyond regulation. An officer asked the woman to pull off the road at 3:54 p.m. near Kingston Avenue and Haughn Road. The officer noticed her car windows were tinted to the point that he could not see the person in the vehicle. Also, the officer found a bag with 60.4 grams of marijuana in the woman's car.
•ÊA woman, 57, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated. An officer noticed her driving erratically at 2:24 a.m. at Broadway between Southwest Boulevard and Home Road. The woman did poorly on a field sobriety test.
• A boy, 17, was charged with assault twice and resisting arrest. An officer was called to a high school at 9:43 a.m. on Central Crossing Big Run South Road to aid the school's principal in bringing the boy to the principal's office. The boy continually resisted the officer and tried to escape his custody several times. The boy twice had assaulted another student at the high school, once the morning before and another time Oct. 23.
