• A woman, 30, was charged with OVI, drug abuse and a traffic violation. An officer saw her at 12:43 a.m. heading north on Marlane Drive. She failed to stop at a stop sign as she headed toward Stringtown Road. The officer stopped her and smelled marijuana coming from her car. The woman admitted to smoking marijuana and allowed the officer to search her purse, which contained marijuana. The woman also admitted to drinking beer. She failed a sobriety test and was summoned to mayor's court.
• A man, 37, was charged with OVI and two traffic violations. An officer noticed the man driving erratically on Gantz Road at 2:54 a.m. The man swerved in traffic lanes and nearly hit a cement barrier in the middle of Stringtown Road. The officer stopped the man and found him drunk. He was summoned to mayor's court.
• A boy, 17, was charged with criminal trespassing. Management at Skate America on Broadway banned the boy from their property after he had caused trouble there earlier. The boy arrived at the business at about 3 p.m. He told officers he knew he was not allowed at the skating rink, but went to attend a birthday party anyway. Officers took him away from the property. He was summoned to juvenile court.
• Officers found a spent shell casing at a man's house near the 3700 block of Meadow Lane. The man told officers he suspected someone fired the bullet at some time during the night. The bullet penetrated the man's screen door and left a mark in the wood door of his house.
