The Central Crossing High School marching band participated in its first Ohio Music Education Association event of the 2011 season on Saturday, Sept. 18, at Logan Elm High School.

The Central Crossing High School marching band participated in its first Ohio Music Education Association event of the 2011 season on Saturday, Sept. 18, at Logan Elm High School.

The band participated in the AA class and received the Best Auxiliary and first place awards. In the Best Overall category for A &AA, the band was awarded Best Music, Best General Effect, Best Visual Effect, Grand Champion and a superior rating.

The band’s show, “Ivory,” is an original arrangement. The CCHS marching band is under the direction of Robert McNutt and Keith Hallas.
