A man and woman with a newborn baby were seen at 12:40 p.m. Aug. 23, leaving a business in the 2300 block of Stringtown Road with a shopping cart filled with two cases of beer and steaks, without paying, Grove City police reported.

The value of the merchandise was estimated at $115. The man has since been identified from the business's video surveillance system, police reports said.

In other recent Grove City Police Division incident reports:

* Following an incident at 9:08 p.m. Aug. 21, the Grove City Police Division filed a warrant for a 58-year-old male resident of the 3500 block of Midland Street for domestic violence and assault. According to reports, he had been drinking and was screaming at his wife about a bag of trash when his adult daughter got between them, and he grabbed the daughter by the arms and shoved her into the wall. He had left the premises by the time police arrived.

* Between 4:30 and 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 23, an American flag was removed from its case and used to break the window of a residence on the 2100 block of Shirlene Drive, causing $200 worth of damage. A juvenile suspect has been charged with criminal damaging after it was reported he had a verbal altercation at school with the resident's son and had shown up at the property and called the son, telling him to come out and fight or he would break a window.

* Two men reportedly stole 42 packages of razor blade cartridges valued at $1,024 at 3:28 p.m. Aug. 22, from a business on the 1600 block of Stringtown Road. The first suspect was described as a white male, 25-35, 6 feet tall and between 170 and 180 pound, with brown hair and tattoos on his forearms and neck. The other was also described as white male, 25-35, 5-foot-7' and between 160 and 170 pounds with brown hair.

* Between 1 and 3:30 p.m. Aug. 22, a wallet was stolen from a shopping cart at a store in the 2400 block of Stringtown Road. Afterward, a credit card in the wallet was used at gas stations in Reynoldsburg and Pataskala, reports said.

* A shed outside a residence in the 3700 block of Sheldon Place was reported broken into between Aug. 22 and 25. A saw, air compressor, radio and chopsaw valued together at $1,370 were reported stolen.

* A wallet containing $23, a driver's license and a number of credit cards was reported stolen between 11:45 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Aug. 22, from a locked locker at a location in the 4100 block of Buckeye Parkway. Afterward, several fraudulent charges were made using the stolen credit cards at various locations in Grove City, police said.

* At 9:47 p.m. Aug. 22, a resident of the 3500 block of Devin Road was watching television when he felt his house shake and discovered a window broken. The damage is estimated to be $100. A large piece of landscaping rock was found on the ground nearby, and the resident reported he had been having recent trouble with a neighbor.

* Two tires on a vehicle were slashed, resulting in $300 worth of damage, between 9 p.m. Aug. 22 and 7:20 a.m. Aug. 23, while the vehicle was parked on the 3400 block of Park Street.

* A GPS unit valued at $900 was reported stolen between 8 p.m. Aug. 25 and 1:20 p.m. Aug. 26 from a vehicle parked in the 2600 block of Brunswick Drive. There were no signs of forced entry, police reports said.

* A juvenile was arrested and released to her mother for the theft of an iPhone at 9 p.m. Aug. 25, at a location in the 4300 block of Broadway.
