Operation Medicine Drop will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, April 27, at the Jackson Township Fire Station, 3650 Hoover Road.
The public can bring expired, unwanted prescription and over-the-counter medications for disposal. This service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.
Pills, powders and liquids, including pet medicine, are disposed of in a safe and environmentally protective manner. Potential health hazards and safety issue caused by disposing of drugs in toilets or landfills are avoided. Empty containers are shredded.
Operation Medicine Drop is sponsored by the City of Grove City, Grove City Division of Police, Jackson Township Fire Department, Giant Eagle, Keep Grove City Beautiful and the DEA.
