On the move

Grove City resident and Columbus firefighter Kevin Radwanski, has been promoted to the rank of lieutenant.

The promotion was effective May 26.

Radwanski joined the fire department in 1998. Prior to his promotion, he was assigned to Engine Company at Station 12, 3200 Sullivant Ave. His previous assignments include Engine Company at Station 26, 5433 Fisher Rd and Station 1, 300 N. Fourth Ave.

Radwanski's efforts have extended beyond the station walls. He has worked on the ladder apparatus and SafeHouse committees and has served as a CPR instructor in the CPR in Schools program. He has also received a Distinguished Service Award for his service in the Honor Guard.

A Bishop Ready High School graduate, fire alarm officer, hazardous materials and emergency medical technician, Radwanski has been recognized for his accomplishments within the Division of Fire.

He lives in Grove City with his wife and two children.
