Boo on Broadway, sponsored by Grove City Parks and Recreation, returns from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, to the Grove City Town Center.
The event features local businesses and civic organizations handing out treats from their doorways and tables lined up on Broadway, which is closed to traffic.
Reservations for the limited-number of tables are accepted on a first-come basis. Applicants must be Grove City organizations and businesses not located in the Town Center. Street closures and areas of parking restrictions will be:
* Broadway south of Grant Street to Grove City Road.
* Park Street from Arbutus Avenue west to the first driveway west of City Hall
Restrictions include no parking from 3 to 9 p.m. and no vehicular traffic from 5 to 9 p.m.
Those who prefer the traditional trick-or-treat experience can go door-to-door from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31. Residents who choose to distribute treats should turn on their porch lights during this time. Drivers are encouraged to watch for young pedestrians unaccustomed to traveling at night.
