Tuesday October 22, 2013 10:57 AM

Early Tuesday morning, Oct. 22, a fire destroyed a single-family house in Urbancrest.

About 2 a.m., a Franklin County Sheriff’s Deputy saw the house at 3371 Second Ave. ablaze and reported it. The Jackson Township Division of Fire responded.

No injuries were reported to any of the residents or firefighters.

“Everyone got out,” said Jackson Township Division of Fire Battalion Chief Brian Reese said.

Reese said the cause of the fire is still under investigation, but at this time, there’s nothing to suspicious about it that would suggest foul play.

WBNS-10TV reported residents believe an unattended candle started the fire.
