The 2014 Grove City Memorial Day Parade, presented by the American Legion Paschall Post 164 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8198, will step off on Broadway at 11 a.m. Monday, May 26.
The parade route begins at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 3730 Broadway, and travels down Broadway.
There procession will stop for a short ceremony at City Hall, 4035 Broadway, before the parade continues to the Grove City Cemetery for the Grove City Memorial Day Service.
Legion Post 164, 3363 McDowell Road, also plans an open house and picnic following the parade, when a new WWII sign will be dedicated and construction of a veterans memorial at the post entry will be launched.

The Operation Flag Rededication Ceremony will by held at 3 p.m. Monday, May 26, at Scioto-Strader Cemetery.
The program will feature a National Moment of Remembrance along with remarks by Ohio Tax Commissioner Joe Testa, chairman of Operation Flag, and Tim Gorrell, director of the Ohio Department of Veterans Services.
Participating color guards include Ohio National Guard Ceremonial Team, Grove City High School NJROTC under the direction of Capt. Steven Noce, Crabtree's Independent Rifles, Sons of the Union Veterans of the Civil War under the direction of Dr. David E. McMahon, and the Franklin Heights High School NJROTC under the direction of Capt. Thomas Lennon, USN Ret.
Scioto-Strader Cemetery is located on Hiner Road. Travel south on state Route 104 from the state Route 665 intersection, and turn right onto Hiner Road. The cemetery 0.2-miles west of Route 104, south off Hiner.
