Grove City High School baseball players Drew Artrip and Ben Myers capped their seasons by receiving Division I all-state recognition.
Artrip, a senior first baseman, was named first-team all-state after hitting .393 and tying Myers for the team lead in RBI with 23.
Myers, a junior center fielder and pitcher, was named second-team all-state after hitting .465 and leading Grove City in runs with 29. He also was 4-1 with a 2.36 ERA in 38 innings.
Both also were first-team all-OCC-Ohio Division and all-district for the Greyhounds, who finished 20-10 and reached a district final.
"Both of them were great leaders for us on and off the field this year," coach Ryan Alexander said. "Drew capped off a four-year career where he was a four-year starter on a team that never won less than 20 games in a season."
