Bowling Green State University has announced its 2008 spring semester dean's list for students who earned grade point averages of 3.5 or better for the semester. The following Hilliard residents were named to the list: Brittny Adkins, Brent Barton, Katrina Caldwell, John Escolas, Kelli Fisher, David Hotler, Ashley Humbert, Cherod Johnson, Jennifer Karno, Sarah Kennedy, Miriam Kumpinsky, Virginia LaFramboise, Catherine Pioli, Lisa Schwartz, Lauren Stacy, Taylor Tietjen, Cassandra Tosko, Anthony Vieira, Lindsay West, Samantha Wilcox and Joshua Varney.

Otterbein College has announced its 2008 spring quarter dean's list. Full-time students who maintain a 3.60 or better grade point average for the quarter are named to the list.

The following Hilliard residents were named to the list: Kyle Beougher, William Ferrall, Chelsea Merriman, Lauren Prossack, Michael Frank, Mohamed Ahmed, Lauren Prossack and Christina Moore.

Ashland University has announ-ced its 2008 spring semester dean's list. To be eligible, full-time students must achieve at least a 3.5 grade point average for the semester.

The following students from Hilliard were named to the list: George Alecusan, Lisa Chenko, Julie Conlin and Alexandra Long.

Jared Lee, son of Philip and Deborah Lee of Hilliard, was named to the dean's list for the 2008 spring semester at Mount Vernon Nazarene University. The list includes all students with a minimum of 12 credit hours who maintained a 3.5 or higher grade point average for the semester.

Lee majors in philosophy and the humanities.

Capital University has announ-ced its graduates from the 2007-2008 academic year. The following Hilliard residents received their degrees: Joel Cox, Laura Fryer, Mallory Kuhns and Zacariah McKenzie.

Hilliard high school graduates are among 12 students awarded $1,000 college scholarships from Riverside Methodist Hospital for their outstanding volunteer service and hours donated to the hospital. Doug Dembinski, a Hilliard Davidson High School graduate, has volunteered 287 hours since February 2007. He plans to attend the University of Cincinnati to study bio-medical engineering; Jennilyn Martinez, a Hilliard Darby High School graduate, has volunteered 232 hours since August 2004. She plans to attend The Ohio State University and major in psychology.
