11:31 a.m. Oct. 17, in the 1500 block of Bending Willow Drive: A woman reported someone has used her debit card since the first of the year to make unauthorized withdrawals.

Oct. 10, in the 5700 block of Mango Lane: A man reported a burglar kicked in the door of his residence and stole his $1,200 laptop computer and the trash which was in his trash can.

10:48 a.m. Oct. 6, in the 5600 block of Rutgers Lane: A woman reported a burglar kicked in the front door of her condominium and stole $4,500 worth of jewelry and a PlayStation II. A witness saw a person drive up to the burglarized residence in a 1992 Chevrolet Lumina. The driver exited, went inside the residence and later left. The car had been reported stolen on Oct. 2 from West Broad Street, police said. The resident said her daughter was asleep in the basement when the burglary occurred. She heard nothing.

5:45 p.m. Oct. 8, in the 2600 block of Hickory Mill Drive: A man reported a burglar entered his residence without force and stole furniture and a television. The intruder also damaged walls and a door.

8 p.m. Oct. 7, in the 2300 block of Spring Row Lane: A woman someone wrote threatening words on her garage door in her apartment complex.

12:24 a.m. Oct. 10, in the 4800 block of Trabue Road: Police charged a Grove City woman with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated when they investigated why her car was stopped atop the railroad tracks here.

9:45 p.m. Oct. 11, in the 5700 block of Angie Drive: A man reported an acquaintance assaulted him at his residence. The other man claimed the victim had bumped into him. Medics at the scene determined that the first man was intoxicated and unsteady on his feet.

3:39 a.m. Oct. 12, in the 5600 block of Blue Lagoon Lane: Police investigated a report of underage drinking. While they found no one drinking, they found many cups of beer and smelled the odor of freshly-burn marijuana in the air. They took two juveniles to their respective homes and released to their parents. No charges were reported.

5 p.m. Oct. 12, in the 5800 block of Brinkwater: A man reported a person tried to scam him by sending a $3,000 check to buy some furniture. The check was larger than the price agreed to and the man, who met the seller via Craig's list, asked the resident to send the remainder of the money to an address in the state of Washington. The resident did not fall for the scam.
