A new bocce ball court has been added outside of the center and is available for use. Also new to the center is a Wii game; specific hours for use will be designated and additionally on an as-space-is-available basis.

The center will host a shopping show from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 1. Home-operated business vendors will range from bakery creations, hand-crafted items, jewelry, books, cosmetics and items for the home. Admission is free. Door prizes and refreshments will be offered in the morning.

A flu shot and health fair will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5. Services at the Health Fair will include blood pressure checks, cholesterol checks, glucose checks, vision/hearing screenings and health/wellness displays. Call 876-0747 for an appointment.

The senior center is open to members for dessert and games on the first and third Thursday of each month from 6-9 p.m. November dates are Thursdays, Nov. 6 and 20. The fee to participate is $2 per person and advance registration is requested. Cards, dominos, cornhole and puzzles are just a few of the available games. Come and join the fun.
